Tacrocord 0.5mg Capsule contains the active substance Tacrolimus. It is an immunosuppressant that belongs to the class of medications called calcineurin inhibitors. This capsule is used along with other medications to prevent organ transplant rejection in people receiving liver, kidney, heart, or other transplants. It is also indicated to control your body’s immune response, enabling it to accept the transplanted organ.

Tacrocord 0.5mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as immunosuppressants. Organ rejection happens when your immune system treats the new organ as an invader and attacks it. This medicine weakens your immune response (which usually fights infection) and reduces the chance of your body attacking the transplanted organ. It is used in combination with other medicines to make it much more likely that your transplant operation will be successful.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
