Nodosis - DS Tablet is used as an alkalinizing agent in the treatment of metabolic acidosis. Useful in metabolic acidosis, gastric, systemic, and urinary alkalinization, severe diarrhea, and chemical phlebitis.
- Sodium Bicarbonate increases plasma bicarbonate
- Buffers excess hydrogen ion concentration
- Raises blood pH
- Reverses the clinical manifestations of acidosis
