Ifosma 1000mg Injection is a prescription medicine which is a combination of two medicines that are used in cancer treatment. It prevents the growth and multiplication of cancer cells, thus helps in destroying the tumor.

Ifosma 1000mg Injection is an anticancer and cytoprotective drug belonging to the category of alkylating agents and hemorrhagic cystitis inhibitor, containing the active ingredient Ifosfamide and Mesna. These drugs are indicated for the treatment of bladder inflammation and cancers in the soft tissues, germ cell, pancreas and cervix. Mesna mainly protects against some of the harmful effects of certain chemotherapy medications.

Ifosma 1000mg Injection is a combination of two medicines Ifomaside and Mesna. It is used to treat various cancers such as testicular cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, cancer of the ovaries (cancer that begins in the female reproductive organs where eggs are formed), cancer of the cervix, and cancer that forms in muscles and bones. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. Mesna present in Ifosma 100mg/1000mg Injection reduces the risk of inflammation and bleeding of the bladder which is a very serious side effect of treatment with Ifosfamide. Drink at least 1-2 litres of water every 24 hours during the treatment process to stay hydrated.
