L Ginase 10000IU Injection is used in the treatment of some kinds of cancer of white blood cells (leukemia). It may also be used to treat other types of cancer as determined by your doctor. It may be used on its own, or sometimes given together with certain other medicines as part of combination chemotherapy.

L Ginase 10000IU Injection contains L-asparaginase. It is used to treat Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (cancer of white blood cells) in patients aged four months and above. In Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, the white blood cells called lymphocytes multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. This disorder is also known as Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia.
