Nevimune tablet Tablet consists of the active ingredient Nevirapine which belongs to the class of anti-HIV drugs called Non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. This medicine stops the reverse transcriptase enzyme by working from multiplying HIV. It is used to control Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV-1) infection in adults and children of any age, which is usually taken with other antiretroviral medicines
Nevimune Tablet prevents HIV from multiplying in the body. It helps control the infection and makes the immune system work better. This lowers the chances of getting complications, such as new infections, and improves your quality of life.
Nevimune Tablet is not a cure for HIV or AIDS and should not be used to prevent HIV after accidental exposure. It is important that this medicine be taken as prescribed by the doctor. Taking all doses in the right amount at the right times greatly increases the effectiveness of the medicine and reduces the chances of HIV infection becoming resistant to antiretroviral medicines. Although taking this medicine will not prevent the passing of HIV to other people.
